As part of Interfaith Week 2011 the Shirley House Interfaith Centre at St Andrew’s Psalter Lane Church will be holding an evening on November 24th at 19.00 for people to share in their ‘Spiritual Places’. This will be an opportunity for people to talk about places where they find spiritual or religious refreshment and renewal, whether they be recognised sites of pilgrimage or a particular quiet place they know about.

Let us learn about the places where you find spiritual refreshment. Come and tell us about a place which is important in your spiritual life.

AN EVENING OF Stories, Music, Pictures, Refreshment, Fellowship & Fun

The evening will be free, but we would appreciate people booking as this will help with catering arrangements. Please respond to Tina Powell-Wiffin at office@sapl.ecclesallmethodist.org if you would like to contribute, or to book places.

You may know about our exciting plans for Shirley House.  We need to do some essential work on the building, but then plan to have an Interfaith Centre based there which will provide a resources/meeting room where people from all faiths or none can meet to discuss share and learn in a hope to achieve greater understanding. This work will be expensive, so we will have a donations bowl if people would like to contribute towards this.
