Businesses from across the UK can apply for £1500 to part-fund the salary of a University of Sheffield Graduate Intern. The Intern will work on a three month project to support the growth and development of your business. If you have a project in the pipeline for 2013, you could use this opportunity to tap into the skills, knowledge and experiences that a graduate intern can bring to your business. Projects can be based around marketing, social media, business admin, finance, market research, events management, sales or something more sector specific. If you are currently looking to recruit a graduate this scheme presents an opportunity to get to know the successful candidate before offering full time employment. Santander Banking Group are working in partnership with the Careers Service at The University of Sheffield to support SME’s to access graduate talent and provide valuable work experience to recent graduates.
Applications are welcomed from businesses across the UK who employ less than 250 people, can provide a three month graduate level project and are able to match fund £1500 to provide a salary of £1000 per month for the graduate. To apply for a Part-Funded Graduate Internship complete the application form on our website and send it to intern@sheffield.ac.uk. All applications must be received by January 16th 2013, however they will be assessed on a first come first serve basis so send in your application soon to avoid disappointment.
